New York’s Fashion Week served as the runway for the unveiling of the 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited and Luxury Edition sedans. The award-winning fashion designer and Detroit native teamed up with the Chrysler brand to give not one, but two 300 sedan models an industrious look and feel.
Varvatos is known for his rock n’ roll-inspired men’s wear. His inspiration comes from the fusion of his love of music and fashion. His sleek clothing designs have translated into sleek interior designs inside the pair of new 2013 Chrysler 300C vehicles.
The sedans have an edgy twist that are powered by pure style. Some signature Varvatos design elements that take Chrysler 300 brand’s flagship sedan to new heights include the Phantom black tri-coat exterior and metallic finishes styled after John Varvatos’ cologne bottle. From the face of John Varvatos’ latest watch collection is the specially designed gauge cluster and clock with Pearlescent White face and Charcoal Black metallic bezels. And don’t forget the leather seats. They are perfectly tailored for a look straight out of his fitted-jacket collection.
John Varvatos hasn’t forgotten his Detroit roots and the collaboration with Chrysler is what happens when style meets industry.
“I’ve always been a car enthusiast since I was a young kid growing up in Detroit. I worked a couple of summers in a Chrysler plant assembling brake pads. I loved the grit of muscle cars when I was growing up. I love the roar of engines. I love the lines of those cars. I love the wheels on those cars, so throughout my life I’ve always paid a lot of attention to cars.” Chrysler Brand CEO and President Saad Chehab says Varvatos is the perfect mix of fashion and sophistication. “He’s someone who has applied in so many ways the music of Detroit and the grit of Detroit in his own fashion as well, and that’s exactly what we want to portray.”
